Rodrigo Gracie No Gi Seminar Pictures
Great day on the mat with Rodrigo, last Saturday. He showed us several choke set ups, such as guillotines and D'arce, escapes and more. Over 40 students showed up and everyone had a great time. If you didn't make it this time, you must be there next time he comes around. Don't forget to review, practice and begin incorporating the techniques into your game! PROGRAM DETAILS: The goal of this program is to teach women more than just the most efficient Self-Defense system around. With Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, you'll learn to develop awareness in all aspects of your life. Being able to identify a situation before it becomes physical is the first and most important line of defense.
We have techniques and strategies for all stages of a sexual assault attempt:
- Being Identified
- Being approached and subdued
- Being controlled on the ground
The techniques are very easy to learn and rely on strategic grips, body positioning and proper timing. Anyone can learn it. A regular class consists of warm up, stretching, standing and ground drills alone and with partners, controlled resistance training (optional).
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
With over 15 years of experience in different martial arts and combat sports such as, Boxing, Shotokan Karate, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Intructor Stephanie can provide a training environment that allows anyone to improve at any rate within their own goals.
