Muay Thai is a form of martial art practiced in large parts of the world, including Thailand and Southeast Asian countries. It has a long history in Thailand and it’s the country’s national sport. Traditional Muay Thai practiced today uses kicks and punches in a ring with gloves similar to those used in Western boxing.
Muay Thai is referred to "The Art of Eight Limbs", as the hands, shins, elbows and knees are all used extensively in this art. A practitioner of Muay Thai thus has the ability to execute strikes in such a manner to inflict extensive damage to one’s body to a point where simply standing up could be no longer an option.
Large numbers of students embrace the sport for fitness rather than its martial qualities. Training delivers excellent health benefits: greater strength, fat loss, increased endurance, increased quickness, tremendous flexibility and coordination as well as an improved confidence and self esteem. Training in Thai boxing can be an excellent way to get into shape, have fun, and learn a realistic form of self defense. You can burn anywhere from 500 - 800 calories in one session.
Due to its effectiveness in real combat, Muay Thai, as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is practice by most if not all top Mixed Martial Artists in action today.
Our classes are designed so that beginners can set their own individual pace, and progressively increase their own level of intensity. Not everyone who learns Muay Thai has the intention of one day stepping into the ring to compete. We offer a
Level 1 class for beginners as well as an
All Levels class for those who want to participate in competitions or just get into a more advanced training habit. Advanced students, however, are welcomed to joining Level 1 classes to strengthen the fundamentals or simply get a good fitness work out.
Training segments are great workouts that develop toughness, physical as well as mental conditioning, and a "Never Quit" attitude.
In the Muay Thai class you will find competitive athletes, moms, dads and teenagers. In addition, students from other disciplines are now increasingly turning to Muay Thai to supplement their own training, thanks to its wide-ranging physical benefits and extremely versatile striking techniques.
We offer 12-month minimum programs. This ensures you get the benefits proposed by us and fitness and skill improvements expected by you.

You will also practice using leg kicks, push kicks, knees, elbows, round house kicks and many more.
We finish the class with basic exercise drills such as pushups, sit ups or medicine ball throws. This will be the toughest work out you can’t get enough of!
*We ask all students to arrive 15 minutes prior to class to wrap their hands, and stretch before class begins.
Warm ups
The warm up process is the most important part of your work out as it’ll help prevent injuries and strains. Warm up is required prior to each class and for this reason we ask all students to arrive on time for the beginning of the class.
Warm up will include jumping rope which is excellent for developing rhythm, conditioning, strengthening the joints and muscles of your legs and shoulders, as well as coordinate your upper and lower body. We then shadow box (combinations of strikes in front of the mirror) to improve form and footwork. Shadow boxing includes offensive and defensive moves. A 3-minute stretching session will conclude the warm up period.
Level 1 Class
